ColorDict is an encyclopedic dictionary that will take anything you write in any language, and translate it. This is thanks to a permanent connection that the app maintains with Wikipedia, Wordnet, and StarDict. Between the three, there's no term that can't be defined.
Owing to the nature of the program, the best way to use it is with a permanent Internet connection, although you can also choose to link local dictionaries that you have downloaded to your device for offline use.
When looking up a word or phrase, you'll have a couple different options at your disposal. You can, for example, share the results on a social network, or jump from one result to another.
Another feature that may seem a little silly – but is actually quite useful – is that the app allows you to scroll through a page with the help of your volume control buttons. This really does make it easier to look through long pages.
ColorDict is an excellent translation tool that may not be much help for someone that needs an instantaneous translation, but will be of great assistance to any user who frequently works with various languages and needs some extra help.
